West London river ramble
Start: Corney Reach
Finish: Gunnersbury Park
Length: 7 km/4.34 miles
Weather: Mostly rain, drizzle and showers
I haven't posted anything for a while. I've been busy most weekends and busy at work too. But I have completed a lot of local walks that I didn't feel worthy of inclusion on here. The Thames has lots of options for both circular and linear walks, near to where I live, and I decided this one would be good to post. It makes use of the E3 bus for a linear walk connecting home with Gunnersbury Park and Chiswick.
The end of the E3 bus route at Edensor Road is a short walk from Chiswick Pier/Corney Reach where this walk starts.

It might not have been the best day for a walk, but it did ensure few people were on the Thames Path.

Approaching the band stand.

The White Hart pub on the opposite bank.

The Ship pub and the old Brewery.

The footbridge that takes you across the entrance to the Chiswick Quay Marina.

The Kew Railway Bridge.

The City Barge pub, Strand on the Green.

The Bell and Crown pub, Strand on the Green.

The Steam packet pub, Strand on the Green.

Crossing the railway next to the Brentford Community Stadium. Despite the location it is a lovely place to go and watch some.....rugby.

After crossing the busy A4, I entered Gunnersbury Park. There are lots of options you can take here.

I chose to head up to the top corner, by the small pond. The park exit here is very close to the E3 bus stop to get me home again.
