Due to getting over Covid, the hot weather and work, I hadn't done much walking of any note since the trip to Cornwall.

After the E3 dropped me off outside the entrance to Gunnersbury Park, I walked to the opposite, diagonal side, which brings you out next to the busy A4 and it's flyover.

It was extremely hot and the whole park was baked and the grass was straw colour. The pond in the park was looking very murky.

Once over the A4, I walked past the Brentford football ground and across Kew Bridge.

This is the view across the Thames, to Syon House. Unfortunately the only bench was occupied, so I had to walk on a short while before I came across a vacant one.

After a while, on the left, you can see Old Deer Park and the Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club through the trees.

Richmond Green, like Gunnersbury Park was totally parched.
