The Tamsin Trail, Richmond Park
Start: Pembroke Lodge car park
Finish: Pembroke Lodge car park
Length: 11.75 km / 7.3 miles
Weather: Cold, sunny day.
The Tamsin Trail follows the perimeter track all around Richmond Park. You can join the path from any of the car parks or gates around the edge of the park. I started it at the Pembroke Lodge car park. There are way-markers along the route, but these were not always obvious to find, hence why I went off route a few times.
This particular way-mark was about an inch off the ground!
The route follows a broad track from Pembroke Lodge.
Heading towards the Ham Gate.
I never knew there was a bus route through the Park. Don't know where it goes, but this stop was near to Ladderstile Gate.
Autumnal colours along the Ladderstile Gate section.
Looking towards Spanker's Wood, near to the Robin Hood Gate.
Beverley Brook.
The footbridge near to the Roehampton Gate.
Lunch at a warm cafe.
Beverley Brook.
Adam's Pond, near to the Sheen Gate car park.
I went a bit skew-whiff after Sheen Gate, they were working on some of the path which meant doing some slight detours.
Bishop's Pond near to the Star and Garter Gate.
