This is another walk along a popular stretch of the River Thames Path, completed on a busy, bright Sunday afternoon.

You can do the walk either way round, but we chose to walk downstream, towards Hammersmith Bridge.

Looking up the Thames from Barnes Bridge. As this is a railway bridge, there is a foot path that runs alongside the tracks.

The Fantastic Herons sculpture, near to Dukes Meadows. Created entirely from recycled materials and unveiled in 2004. Kevin Herlihy held a number of art workshops with children from a local primary school who made the nest, leaves and herons for the sculpture,
