SW Coastal Path: Port Quin to Port Isaac
Start: Port Quin
Finish: Port Quin
Length: 8.52 km/5.3 miles
Weather: Hot and sunny
This was intended to be a short-ish, gentle walk that covered a section of the path I has still to complete..
Doyden Point and Doyden Castle.

The path was often steep in places, or clung to the side of the cliff in others.

Varley Head.

At top of the steepest part of the walk, near the top of Lobber Point..

We had the option at his point to take a short-cut back inland, but decided to stick with the original plan and visit Port Isaac.

...apart from this one field of cows, who were alarmingly, taking great interest in a woman and her dog. Both remained calm and made it to safety.
